WALLSTM Program

Wall Analysis for Longevity, Lifecycle & Safety

A proactive inspection program designed to document the condition of your operable walls, identify maintenance needs, and support long-term planning.

Why WALLSTM Exists

Operable walls do a lot. They divide rooms, protect guests, provide acoustic privacy, and withstand constant daily use. However, they rarely receive the same routine inspections and lifecycle planning as other engineered building systems.

The Result?

  • Panels that drift out of alignment
  • Track that fatigues
  • Trolleys that wear, loosen, or become disengaged
  • Missing or worn safety components
  • Systems that quietly decline until a failure disrupts operations... or worse, creates a safety hazard.

Why WALLSTM Matters

An operable wall is a mechanical system. Like elevators, HVAC units, and fire-life-safety equipment, it requires planning, inspection, and preventative care.

WALLSTM gives facility leaders a clearer understanding of their operable wall systems, helping support maintenance planning, budgeting, and informed decisions about repairs and replacement.

Regular inspections can identify developing issues before they become larger problems, giving facility teams an opportunity to plan ahead rather than react to an unexpected failure.

Plan ahead. Avoid surprises.

Get a clear picture of your operable walls' condition and maintenance needs.

Who the WALLSTM Program Is Built For

The WALLSTM Program is designed to support all environments where operable walls are critical to daily operations:

Hospitality

An unexpected wall failure can disrupt events by causing schedule delays, reducing usable space, and forcing last-minute changes to room configurations. This can negatively impact the flow of activities and diminish the overall guest experience, potentially leading to dissatisfaction and logistical challenges for organizers.

K-12 Schools & Higher Education

Operable walls appear across classrooms, gyms, cafeterias, libraries, music rooms, and community spaces. We help districts standardize inspections, comply with safety expectations, and extend system life.

Municipal & Government Facilities

Recreation centers, community meeting rooms, auditoriums, and training facilities benefit from proactive inspections that protect public users and taxpayers.

Corporate & Commercial Facilities

Conference centers, flexible workspaces, training rooms, and amenity spaces function better and safer with regular inspection and lifecycle planning.

Architects & Designers

During renovations and facility upgrades, one important question is whether existing operable partitions should be kept, repaired, or replaced. The WALLS™ Program provides a documented assessment of an existing system's condition, helping facility teams and project stakeholders better understand maintenance needs, identified deficiencies, and considerations for the system's continued service.

Request a WALLS Inspection
WALLS™ (Wall Analysis for Longevity, Lifecycle & Safety) is a comprehensive inspection program for operable partitions. During each inspection, our technicians evaluate the condition, operation, and safety of your movable walls, then provide a detailed report with findings and recommendations.
Like any mechanical system, operable walls experience wear over time. Regular inspections help identify developing issues before they become costly repairs, reduce unexpected downtime, improve safety, and extend the service life of your investment.
Most facilities benefit from an annual inspection. High-use environments such as schools, hotels, conference centers, churches, and event venues may benefit from more frequent inspections depending on usage and manufacturer recommendations.
Our technicians inspect virtually all major brands of operable partitions, including Modernfold, Hufcor, Kwik-Wall, Dorma Hüppe, Panelfold, Skyfold, and many others.

Manufacturer names are used for identification purposes only. Continental Partition Systems is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers listed.
Absolutely. We service and inspect operable partitions regardless of who originally installed them. Our goal is to help you maximize the life and performance of your walls.
Age or an obsolete manufacturer does not necessarily mean your operable wall needs to be replaced. Continental works with operable walls of all ages and manufacturers, including systems that are no longer produced. We’ll evaluate the wall’s condition, identify repair needs, and determine what options may be available to keep it operating. If original parts are no longer available or repairs are no longer practical, we can help you understand your replacement options.
WALLS inspections are priced based primarily on the number of operable walls at your facility. Contact Continental with your wall count and facility information, and we'll provide pricing for your inspection.
Inspection time depends on the number, size, configuration, and condition of the walls being evaluated. Continental will review your facility information before scheduling and help you understand what to expect during the inspection.

Your WALLS™ report provides a detailed assessment of each operable wall, including:

  • Overall condition
  • Photos documenting findings
  • Safety concerns
  • Recommended repairs
  • Maintenance recommendations
  • Planning guidance
  • Lifecycle observations

The report serves as a facility management tool, helping you prioritize maintenance and plan future capital expenditures.

Your WALLS inspection is focused on evaluating and documenting the condition of your operable walls. If repairs are identified, Continental can provide a separate repair quote so you can review the recommended work before approving any repairs. We can also provide replacement pricing to help you compare your options and plan your next step.

Continental Partition Systems has decades of experience working with operable walls of all ages and manufacturers. Our technicians understand how these systems wear over time and what to look for—from panel alignment and seal condition to track, trolleys, carriers, and operating components. WALLS gives you a documented look at your walls' condition, practical repair priorities, and clear next steps so you can plan ahead instead of waiting for a problem.
